Figuring out phosphorus.

Phosphorus is an essential mineral that serves multiple vital functions in the body, including its role in kidney function. It aids in the regulation of kidney function and contributes to the filtration and elimination of waste products.

At the early stages of kidney disease your kidneys may still be able to remove excess phosphorus but this decreases as the disease progresses.
